Dorothy Ann Gould
Founder & Artistic Director: One of South Africa’s most acclaimed actresses, teachers, and directors. Dorothy has performed in over 300 productions, worked on international stages, and won multiple awards — but her true passion lies in using theatre to uplift the voiceless. She founded JAM to give the homeless a chance to rediscover their dignity and power through art.
The JAM Players
Once voiceless, now performers — these remarkable men are the lifeblood of JAM. They bring Shakespeare and poetry to life with raw honesty, embodying resilience, courage, and artistry that moves audiences to tears.

Lilian Isaacs & Sharon Shevil
Administrators: Working tirelessly behind the scenes, Lilian and Sharon handle logistics, fundraising, and performance bookings. Their dedication ensures JAM continues to thrive, connect with communities, and bring performances to stages across South Africa.
